All GateHawk brand products have a 3-Year Limited Product Warranty rom the date of first activation. See below for exclusions.
Other manufacturer’s products may be incorporated as part of a system. If these items are not purchased from GateHawk, these non-GateHawk brand products will only be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty may be transferred to the owners or managers of properties where these products are installed once installation is complete.
Products needing repair or replacement under this warranty may only be returned to GateHawk with prior authorization. Contact technical support by phone, email, or the service ticket management system to submit your request for advanced replacement or return for credit, or complete the Return Authorization (RA) form and submit it to GateHawk’s service team.
For advanced replacements, GateHawk will verify the product is still within the warranty period and hasn’t been damaged by misuse or abuse. If approved, the replacement product or component will be directly shipped to the dealer or property.
If a return for credit request is approved, the purchaser will receive instructions for the return. Returns for credit are evaluated once a product is returned. Credit may be denied or a partial credit issued if the product has been damaged through misuse or abuse, or if it is missing parts or packaging. Approved credits will be issued within 7 days of receiving the returned product.
Please note that the purchaser is responsible for any and all charges related to shipping products to GateHawk, and we recommend adding insurance to the shipment for the value of the item(s).
This warranty does not apply to any product damaged as a result of any accident, negligence, misuse, use in any application for which the product is not designed or intended, improper installation or setup, failure to follow installation guidelines, system modifications not specifically authorized by GateHawk, acts of God, natural disaster, flood, fire, or by any other causes unrelated to defective workmanship or materials. This warranty also does not apply to (i) demonstration products, (ii) cosmetic defects, (iii) defects that do not inhibit the functionality or performance of the product or (iv) any batteries and other consumable components. The warranty holder shall be responsible for the cost of any replacement product provided to the warranty holder if any of these exclusions apply.
WARRANTY HOLDER’S SOLE REMEDY IS REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT AS DETERMINED BY GateHawk. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS WARRANTY, GateHawk HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS AND REPRESENTATIONS EXPRESS, STATUTORY AND IMPLIED, OR THOSE ARISING BY USAGE OF TRADE OR COURSE OF DEALING, APPLICABLE TO THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ANY WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT. CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL AND SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE, ARE NOT RECOVERABLE UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR ANY STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH MAY ARISE UNDER LAW, AND WHICH CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
